How We Install Bay & Bow Windows

Here is the step-by-step process we take when installing a bay or bow window.

The window frame, which has been custom built to exact specifications, is fitted to the prepared opening.

Installation team members secure the frame.
Note the protective draping we have placed inside the home.

The window is balanced and leveled for proper fit.

Temporary “shims” are placed where insulation will be fitted.

Interior shimming is installed to make sure the window is square and plumb.

Side panel double-hung windows are installed.

We pay careful attention to every detail!

Fiberglass insulation is fitted around the window to ensure no drafts will allow outside air to enter the home.

The side panel double-hung windows are installed and the center panel is now ready.

The broad expanse of the center panel window is carefully placed and secured.

Additional insulation is installed above the window.

Finish carpentry is completed on the window surround

The finished product, including attractive side shutters, is cleaned and ready for use!
